Always take the weather … on an arty walk or a steep climb

Our walk to the Hunter Art District was unexpected. We were looking for something else but took the time to enjoy some of the lovely public art. The Museum looks impressive but time was against us so we didn’t visit it.

We did have time for a walk through the Bluff View Sculpture Garden – another lovely, accessible public space.

We never did find what we were looking for.

It still hadn’t fined up but we decided to ride the Incline Railway anyway. This is the steepest passenger railway in the world and from the lookout at the top you can see 7 states … apparently. The fog was so thick at the top that we didn’t even bother trying. Never mind. There’d be a fine day later on when we could drive up there.

After lunch at Cheeburger it was home to wait for Mary and Lee’s grandsons to come home from school. The youngest took me for a walk in the woods behind their house. Bigfoot was noticeably absent – much to Seth’s disgust.
